PM Barzani Meets Bahrain, Czech Delegations to Strengthen Relations

ERBIL — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with high-level delegations from Bahrain and the Czech Republic in Davos on Tuesday, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties with both countries.

The Bahraini delegation, led by Prince Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, conveyed the greetings of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain. 

During their meeting, the delegation expressed Bahrain’s commitment to developing relations with the Kurdistan Region across various sectors. 

Prime Minister Barzani thanked King Hamad and Bahrain for their continued support and reaffirmed his desire to deepen cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, and regional stability.

 


Meanwhile, Prime Minister Barzani also met with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky. 

The two leaders discussed enhancing relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Czech Republic, emphasizing the importance of maintaining security and stability in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. 

They also exchanged views on the latest developments in Syria, underscoring their shared interest in regional peace and security.

These meetings reflect the Kurdistan Region’s growing international engagement and its efforts to foster deeper cooperation with key global partners.
