ERBIL — Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Department of Foreign Relations, highlighted on Thursday the significant progress made in diplomatic and economic ties under the KRG’s ninth cabinet.
Dizayee emphasized that the KRG has been actively strengthening its relationships with both regional and international countries, during an interview with Kurdistan 24. He pointed to the increased number of high-level visits to Erbil by presidents, prime ministers, and senior officials as a clear indicator of the Region’s growing diplomatic engagement.
In addition to diplomatic achievements, Dizayee noted that the KRG’s relations with foreign countries have also expanded on an economic level. He underscored the importance of international partnerships and cooperation in bolstering Kurdistan’s economic standing.
