ERBIL — Iranian border patrol forces have fired on a number of Kurdish Kolbers near the city of Bana, injuring three.

Mahan, Shahram Muradwaysy, and Kamal Khizri were seriously injured after Iranian border guards shot at them near the border in Bana city, Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported on Sunday.

On Thursday last week, Iranian border patrol forces injured four other Kurdish Kolbers near Bana and Mariwan as they opened fire on them.

This series of border shootings highlights the perilous conditions faced by cross-border cargo carriers in economically challenging Iranian Kurdish cities.
