Iraqi Ministry of Oil Reports September Exports Exceeding $9 Billion

ERBIL — The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has announced impressive figures for the month of September, with total oil exports exceeding 103 million barrels and revenues surpassing $9 billion.

Preliminary data released by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) shows that Iraq exported a total of 103,143,199 barrels of crude oil, resulting in revenues of $9.494 billion.

Comparatively, the previous month of August saw Iraq export over 106 million barrels of oil, generating revenues totaling $8,997 million, according to SOMO's finalized data

The statistics indicated that the majority of September exports, amounting to 102,220,441 barrels, originated from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq. Jordan received 449,423 barrels of Iraqi crude, while Qatar imported 473,335 barrels. Notably, the average daily export volume reached 3,438,000 barrels, with each barrel commanding a price of $92.05.
