ERBIL — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) exported more than 36 million barrels of oil from January 1 to March 31 of 2022, audited data indicated on Monday.
According to data published by the KRG and audited by Deloitte, the regional government exported over 36 million barrels of oil at an average price of $86.7 per barrel.
During the first quarter of this year, the KRG generated more than 3 billion dollars from oil sales, calculating to over 1.3 billion dollars in net income after the repayment of debts to oil companies and covering operational costs.
