Ten Syrian Regime Soldiers Killed, Injured in Aleppo

ERBIL — At least two Syrian regime soldiers were killed and eight others were wounded in a rocket attack in west of Aleppo, a war monitor said on Monday.

The rocket attack was carried out by members of the "National Liberation Front" which targeted a gathering of regime soldiers near a food truck on Ainjara frontline in western Aleppo, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

"SOHR initial reports confirm the death of two soldiers and injury of eight others, some sustained serious wounds which may raise the death toll," the monitor added.

Earlier today, SOHR reported that regime forces had fired rockets on the villages of San, Majdaliya, Bayanin and its forests in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib.

"Moreover, SOHR activists documented the death of a member of the National Liberation Front in gunfire by regime forces on Jabal Al-Zawiyah frontlines," the Britain-based monitoring group noted.

The National Liberation Front is a Syrian rebel alliance formed in southwestern Syria by 11 rebel groups on 22 July 2017 as a "unified national, military, and political unit" in the region.
