ERBIL — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday received a military delegation from the US-led Global Coalition in Erbil, with whom he discussed Peshmerga reforms and cooperation with the Iraqi Army.
PM Barzani and Brigadier General Karl Harris, deputy commander of the coalition forces, reviewed the latest developments in the ongoing war against terrorism, stressing the need for continued cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad to deter the threats.
“Both sides also discussed the ongoing reform process in the Ministry of Peshmerga and continuing the support by the coalition forces for the Peshmerga forces,” reads a press release by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
