ERBIL — Barzani Charity Foundation on Monday delivered a new shipment of medical supplies to the Syrian Kurdistan, better known as Rojava, a statement said.
The Kurdish aid organization cooperated with the German IEH in preparing the medical supplies worth $542,000, head of BCF office in Sinjar said.
He explained that the delivery will be distributed among the hospitals across Rojava, and that his organization will continue providing humanitarian aid to the Syrian Kurdistan.
The BCF has been on the forefront in assisting internally displaced persons (IDP) and refugees since 2014 when millions of people escaped their homes to find shelter in the Kurdistan Region.
It now also provides humanitarian assistance to the Kurds outside the Kurdistan Region. Previously, the organization has delivered large shipments of medical supplies and other basics to the people in Rojava.
