ERBIL — The World Passport Index has once again ranked the Iraqi passport among the worst in its Global Passport Power Rank 2021.
The ranking is based on the possibility of nationalities traveling around the world on visa-free, visa on arrival, and required visa basis.
Among 88 countries included in the evaluation, Iraq takes the 87th place, just before Afghanistan which fell to the Taliban in the recent days.
The source says the Iraqi passport holders are allowed to travel to four countries without a visa, and they can travel to 28 countries with a visa on arrival. Entering any other country would require obtaining visa for Iraqis.
Before Iraq comes Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, and Iran.
Meanwhile, Germany and Spain together take the first place with 104 visa-free, 35 visa on arrival, and only 59 required visa options.
