ERBIL — In less than one hour, two separate bomb attacks were carried out against the convoys of the US-led Coalition forces in Iraq on Sunday afternoon, a source revealed.
The first incident reportedly took place on a highway in the province of Babil where a roadside bomb targeted a convoy carrying logistical supplies for the Global Coalition forces, a security source said in a statement.
Moreover, a similar attack was reported in the province of Diwaniya where an explosive device hit another Coalition convoy, reports said.
The two attacks did not result in any casualties.
Attacks against the US and Coalition forces have continued despite the fact that Washington has already agreed to withdraw the US troops from Iraq by the end of this year.
