ERBIL - An Iranian Kurdish migrant has drowned after their boat sank near the Greek island of Karpathos, a human rights group revealed on Sunday.
Earlier on Friday, a boat with 45 migrants on board was reported to have submerged in the southeastern Aegean Sea, where the rescue teams managed to save 37 people while the rest have so far remained missing.
Hengaw Organization for Human Rights explained that Mwnira Haidari, from Kermanshah province, Iranian Kurdistan, had lost her life in the incident.
