ERBIL — The leader of Iraqi Shia militia group known as Asaib al-Haq has threatened to continue the military attacks on the US forces until Washington decides to withdraw its troops.
Qais Khazali, who is known for his close ties with Iran, said the “Resistance Front” is ready to increase its military actions against the US forces in Iraq.
“We are ready for any sort of confrontation. Threatenings will not push us back,” the Iraqi news agencies quoted Khazali.
The Resistance Front includes several Shia militia groups who also operate under the command of Hashd al-Shaabi, and regularly attacks the Iraqi bases where the US forces are stationed.
