ERBIL - A rocket attack was reported on the Baghdad International Airport on Wednesday night, a second incident of this type in less than two hours.
A security official confirmed the report to AFP and noted that two rockets were fired at the Baghdad Airport where the US-led Coalition forces are based.
Other reports said that Camp Victoria was targeted in the fresh rocket attack without any details of possible injuries or material damages.
Speaking to Shafaq News, a source pointed out that "the C-RAM system installed inside the airport failed to abort the attack, and both rockets landed inside the Airbase."
This is the second rocket attack in Iraq in less than two hours. The first one was on Balad airbase in the province of Salahaddin.
However, no casualties or injuries have been reported in none of the incidents with no claims of responsibility for the attacks either.
