ERBIL - The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Sunday that the Kurdish forces had reached a permanent truce with the pro-regime forces.
Clashes had been ongoing between the Kurdish Asayish and National Defense Forces in northeast of Syria over the past few days, leading to the wounding of several individuals from both sides.
A statement by the Media Center of the Internal Security Forces in north and east Syria explained that the truce is guaranteed by the SDF and Russian forces unless the NDF fails to commit to it.
The statement also noted that those families who had been displaced as a result of the recent armed confrontations, "can review our security points to secure their entry and the safety of their properties, starting tomorrow, Monday."
