ERBIL - Sunday's rocket attack on Iraq's Balad air base housing US contractors resulted in the wounding of at least five people, a security source said.
As a result of two projectiles, which targeted a US maintenance firm, left a couple of foreigners and three Iraqi soldiers wounded, the security source told AFP.
According to the source, two rockets crashed into a dormitory and a canteen of the US company Sallyport.
No groups have claimed responsibility for the rocket attack, but Washington often blame pro-Iran militia groups for such incidents.
