Erbil International Airport Says Flights Not Cancelled

ERBIL - The Erbil International Airport has announced that flights have not been affected by the new measures that the government has introduced to combat the new surge of the coronavirus.

A statement by the airport explained that the anti-COVID-19 curfew does not affect the flights from the Erbil International Airport and that they will be continued without any delays.

It noted that although movements of pedestrians and vehicles are not allowed between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, tourists can still head to the airport as the new measures do not affect them.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Kurdistan Region's Interior Ministry announced a nighttime curfew across the Kurdistan Region from April 8 to 12 as the pandemic situation continues to deteriorate in the region.
