ERBIL - A bomb explosion targeted a convoy of the Global Coalition forces in Iraq's Babil province on Monday.
The incident took place on a highway near Hila city of Babil province, with no casualties or injuries reported, Iraqi reports said.
The bomb blast did not even result in material damages to the vehicles.
Convoys of the US-led Coalition forces regularly come under such attacks in Iraq, for which the pro-Iran militia groups are often blamed by Washington.
A few Shia militia groups in Iraq have previously threatened to target the US interests in the country, pushing for the withdrawal of the foreign forces from Iraq.
