ERBIL — Kurdistan Region’s Health Ministry on Saturday confirmed three more fatalities due to COVID-19 in Erbil and Duhok provinces.
The ministry also said 198 new cases were recorded over the past 24 hours, brining the total infection tally up to 110,256 since the beginning of the outbreak in early 2020.
The overall death toll from the pandemic now stands at 3,534.
Over the past day, according to the report, 151 people have also recovered, raising the total number to 104,353.
Currently there are 2,369 active cases across the Kurdistan Region, with the largest number being in Erbil.
