ERBIL - The ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) will dispatch a delegation to Baghdad for negotiations with Iraqi political parties on the remaining disputes between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
KDP Spokesperson Mahmood Muhammed confirmed the report during a press conference on Tuesday and noted that the KDP delegation will pay its second visit to Baghdad on Wednesday.
He noted that the same delegation previously held meetings with "all" political parties and that discussions will continue.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the federal government are yet to reach a final agreement on Erbil's share from the Iraqi budget bill for the current year.
The KRG, over the past few months, has sent delegations to Baghdad more than 10 times in efforts to reach an agreement with the federal government.
