ERBIL — A roadside bomb on Thursday targeted a convoy of vehicles carrying US-led Global Coalition supplies in Babil province, south of Baghdad, media reports said.
The explosion, which took place on Babil highway, caused material damages only.
Multiple similar attacks have been reported in southern Iraq over the past few months, mainly small scale explosions with no casualties.
Iran-backed Shia militia groups are primarily suspected to be behind the attacks against the US forces in Iraq.
