ERBIL - A bomb attack on a liquor store was reported in the Iraqi province of Salahaddin on Thursday night, the second incident in the country in just hours.
An explosive device had been placed near a liquor store in central Tikrit, Salahaddin province, the first incident of this type in the city, a security source said in a statement.
This came only hours after a grenade went off at another liquor store near the National Theater of Karrada district, in central Baghdad.
Elsewhere in west of capital Baghdad, the security forces managed to defuse an explosive device which had been placed near a liquor shop.
No casualties or injuries due to Thursday's bomb attacks on liquor stores, according to Iraqi media reports.
Several similar incidents have been reported in Baghdad over the past few days, with no groups claiming responsibility for them.
