France Repatriates Seven Children of IS Fighters from Syria

ERBIL - France repatriated at least seven children of Islamic State (IS) fighters from northeast of Syria.

According to a statement by the French Foreign Ministry, the children aged between 2 and 11 and "particularly vulnerable", were handed over to the judicial authorities.

They said to have lived in the camps of al-Hol and Roj, the statement added, as cited by Asharq Al-Awsat.

The French government has so far taken home a total of 35 children of IS militants, many of whom were reportedly orphans.
