ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has begun talks with Poland in the field of education, a statement said on Wednesday.
KRG Representative to Poland, Ziyad Raoof, held an online meeting with the head and deputy head of foreign relations department in the Poland's ministry of science and higher education, his office said in a statement.
"Today we had on-line meeting with head and deputy head of foreign relations department in the @MEIN_GOV_PL- ministry of science and higher education. Fruitful discussion about current state of Pol-Kurd relations in the field of education and about prospects for strengthening it," reads the statement.
According to the KRG representative, the Kurdistan Region and Poland have so far implemented at least 13 agreements related to the education sector, while more than 100 Kurdish students are now studying in the country.
