ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced on Wednesday that 12 graders will start in-person classes on January 16.
Speaking to reporters, KRG Spokesperson Jotiar Adil pointed out that the other graders will start classes on March 1, as the epidemic situation is yet to be fully brought under control despite a dramatic decrease in infections.
The coronavirus situation in the Kurdistan Region has improved. The health ministry reported no deaths related to the coronavirus on Tuesday.
According to the latest updates by the health ministry, the total number of active coronavirus cases has now decreased to 18,446.
