Soon after the arrival of the new government representatives at the airport on Wednesday, three rockets hit the airport. In addition to 25 fatalities, 110 people were also injured.
“The number [of deaths] is increasing due to the critical conditions of some wounded at Aden hospitals," Health Minister Qasem Buhaibeh said on Twitter.
Among those killed was a journalist who was covering the arrival of the new government representatives. Ten other journalists were injured, the communication minister said.
Previous reports said there were civilians, airport workers, and officials among the casualties.
