Turkish Airstrike Kills Three Civilians in Duhok

ERBIL - A Turkish airstrike on Saturday resulted in the killing of at least three civilians in Kurdistan Region's Duhok province.

This comes as the military confrontation between the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) fighters and Turkish army has continued in the Kurdistan Region border areas.

The three civilians, who were children, were killed in Deraluk town of Amedi district, Duhok province.

The PKK is designated as a "terrorist organisation" by Ankara, while there has been an armed conflict between the Turkish army and Kurdish armed group over the past three decades.
