Security Forces Seize over 6kg of Illegal Drugs at Erbil International Airport
ERBIL - The security forces on Tuesday confiscated more than six kilograms of illegal drugs at the Erbil International Airport, a statement said.
The general directorate of anti-narcotics explained in a statement that the illicit drugs had been hidden inside mats in attempts to be smuggled abroad.
This comes a day after the security forces of Kurdistan Region managed to arrest a man who had attempted to smuggle 2kg of illicit drugs through Haji Omaran border crossing.
