ERBIL - For the first time in months, the Kurdistan Region on Saturday said that it had recorded a higher number of recoveries of COVID-19 than new infections within 24 hours.
Out of 4,688 suspects who have taken the test for the coronavirus since yesterday, at least 361 people were found positive, the ministry of health said in a statement.
During the same period of time, the ministry has registered 371 recoveries across the Kurdistan Region.
There were also 20 new COVID-19 fatalities.
The new reports took the coronavirus tally to 92,938, from which 57,517 people have recovered, while 2,977 others lost their lives.
