ERBIL - A bomb explosion on Thursday targeted a gas line in Syria's Hasakah province, a monitor said.
The Syrian Observatory cited its local activists as reporting that they heard "a loud explosion nearby Al-Shaddadi city in the south of Al-Hasakah province."
"The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED, planted earlier by unknown individual," the Britain-based monitoring group added.
No sides or terrorist organizations have yet claimed responsibility for the bombing.
