ERBIL — A Kurdish family of parents and a daughter were found beheaded inside their home in central Baghdad on Tuesday.
BasNews has learned that Dara Raoof, a Kurdish doctor, together with his wife and daughter, were tragically slaughtered by a group of unidentified armed men in al-Mansour neighborhood of the Iraqi capital.
Early media reports claimed that the perpetrators had actually broken into the house to commit robbery.
However, activists have ruled out the allegation, saying the family, especially Shilan Dara, the daughter, were active during the protests against the government.
Investigations into the case are underway, but no arrest has been made.
