ERBIL — A Kurdish family in Tuz Khurmatu district of Diyala were targeted with an improvised explosive device on Thursday.
Local security sources confirmed to BasNews that the three members of the family were injured in the attack.
“A hand-made bomb was placed just outside the home of Abdulkhaliq Saeed, and it went off when the man was going out with his wife and son,” a police officer said.
The have been transferred to a hospital for treatments, and they are in a stable condition now.
It was unclear whether the attack was an act of terror or a personal dispute.
