Deir ez-Zor: SDF Releases Nine Arab Detainees

ERBIL - The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have released nine Arab detainees at the request of tribal leaders in the province of Deir ez-Zor, a monitor reported on Thursday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights cited its "reliable" sources as saying that the nine individuals had been detained on various charges and that they were from the areas of Theban, al-Shuhayl, and al-Suwar in both northern and eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Earlier on July 30, the administration of al-Hol camp in southeast of Hasakah allowed a new batch of Islamic State (IS) families from Deir ez-Zor to leave the camp, according to the Britain-based monitoring group.
