ERBIL - The number of coronavirus cases in Iran has now surpassed 330,000, the health ministry reported on Tuesday.
At least 2,345 other people have tested positive for coronavirus across Iran over the past 24 hours, Sima-Sadat Lari, a spokesperson for the ministry, told reporters.
The novel virus has also claimed the lives of 184 other individuals since Monday, bringing the death toll to 18,800, the spokesperson added.
The total number of infections has reached 331,189 in Iran.
Iran has so far registered 288,620 recoveries while 3,983 patients are in critical condition, Lari concluded.
