ERBIL — Iranian judicial authorities executed a Kurdish inmate on Wednesday morning in Western Azarbaijan province, northwest of Iran.

Rahim Yousefi, 40, was from Piranshahr district, and he was hanged early in the morning in Naqadeh central prison, said Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

Yousefi was found guilty by an Iranian court of involvement in a murder.

According to Hengaw, Yousefi had admitted his guilt to an “unintentional” murder that had happened 13 years ago.
