ERBIL — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is expected to receive the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) delegation which is negotiating a solution to the disputes with Baghdad.
According to Kurdistan 24, PM Barzani will hold a meeting with the delegation later today, 11 May, to discuss the progress in negotiations.
The KRG dispatched the delegation to Baghdad last week for the second round of talks. The delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, met with Iraqi oil minister and several other top government officials.
The Kurds and Iraqis agreed during the last round of talks to form joint committees to find a feasible solution to the disputes acceptable to both the sides.
