ERBIL — The Iraqi federal government is planning to finalize the 2020’s budget bill and send it for approval to the country’s legislature in about a week, said PM’s office.

Hussein Hanin, PM’s economy advisor, said on Monday that the government is still working on amendments to the budget bill, and it is expected to conclude within almost a week.

MP Faris Muhammad Amin told BasNews that they are awaiting for the bill at the parliament, and that the MPs will discuss and vote to approve the annual national budget before the end of this year as soon as it is submitted to the legislature.
