Iraqi Passport: Second Weakest in the World

ERBIL — The Iraqi passport is ranked second to last in the global ranking for most powerful travel documents.

According to a survey by Passport Index for the year 2018, the Iraqi passport comes just before Afghanistan in the list.

The most powerful passport belongs to Singapore, with which its citizens can travel to 127 countries without a visa, and to 39 others with a visa on arrival.

The second place is taken by Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, South Korea, and the United States of America.

Syria, despite having stuck in a seven-year-long crisis, comes before Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan in the list.
