In Pictures: A Kurdish Woman Shaves Head in Solidarity with Cancer Patients

 

 

 

SULAYMANIYAH — A Kurdish woman has shaved her head to show solidarity with those who have lost their hair to cancer treatment.

 

Venna Kamali, a women's rights activist aged 31 in Sulaymaniyah province in the Kurdistan Region, shaved her head to empathize with the patients who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

 

The pictures of Venna have soon after started to circulate on social media by having people sharing them and commending her and valuing her humane attitude.
