ERBIL — 25 members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have been killed and 22 others wounded during the clashes with the Kurdish opposition parties in the last five months.
Hengaw Agency for human rights in the Iranian Kurdistan said in a report that 16 battles have taken place between IRGC and the Kurdish parties in different areas in Iranian Kurdistan over the past five months.
During these clashes, 7 guerrillas of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), the PKK’s Iranian wing, 3 Peshmergas of Komala party and 2 other Peshmergas from Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran were killed. Moreover, One member of PJAK and a Peshmerga of Komala were captured by IRGC.
According to Hengaw, 25 IRGC members have been killed and 22 others wounded during the past five months’ clashes between the Kurdish opposition parties and the IRGC forces.
