ERBIL - A landmine blast killed on Saturday a civilian in the Kurdistan Region's Sulaimaniya province, a spokesperson confirmed.
Speaking to BasNews, Zardash Othman, a spokesperson for Darbandikhan Health Directorate, said that the incident occurred in the Mount Bamo, in Darbandikhan.
The victim was identified as Safar Yousif, 32, from Shawzi village, according to the information BasNews has learned.
The spokesperson pointed out that Yousif succumbed to his injures before reaching the hospital.
