ERBIL - A group of unknown armed men exploded a temple and kidnapped the onwner in Kirkuk province.
According to the information obtained by BasNews, a group of unknown armed men overnight on Saturday attacked a temple in Daquq, a town in Kirkuk province and immediately abducted the owner of the building.
The abductee was identified as Saeed Hamid who was also a well-known figure in the area.
After the overtaking of the disputed provinces by the militias of Iranian-backed Hashd al-Shaabi, kidnapping citizens, bomb explosions, and murder cases have been on a phenomenal rise in the area.
The Iranian-backed militias of Hashd al-Shaabi on October 16th, last year invaded Kirkuk, Tuz Khurmatu, and Khanaqin which resulted in the killing of hundreds of civilians and displacement of thousands of others.
