DUHOK — Iraqi security forces found on Wednesday another mass grave where Islamic State (IS) terrorists had buried bodies of their Yezidi victims, said an official.
Fallah Hassan, a member of Kurdistan Region’s committee for documenting Yezidi genocide by IS, confirmed the report to BasNews, but said the number of victims is not yet determined.
The specialised teams are yet to fully document the site and identify the victims, Hassan stated.
The mass grave, according to the official, was discovered in an area near Tel Afar, west of Mosul in northern Iraq.
According to latest data, up to 60 mass graves of Yezidis have so far been discovered, 20 of which are yet to be fully documented by specialise committees.
