ERBIL— The people of Kurdistan have staged the revolution "Yes for Independence" and will record a new history on 25th September, stated Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani.
In a congratulatory message for the 56th anniversary of fermenting Great September Revolution, Barzani stated the occasion is commemorated this year as only two weeks are left "for our nation to announce to the entire world its decision for independence and freedom."

"The voice of the martyred and their relatives will turn to "Yes for Independence" and on September 25 will knock at the door of the entire world's consciousness."
The referendum on independence of Kurdistan Region is going to be held on September 25 across Kurdistan and some areas under the rule of Baghdad which Kurdistan has been claiming for decades.
