ERBIL — In the airstrikes conducted by coalition forces west of Kirkuk province on Friday six Islamic State (IS) leaders were killed, according to an official.
Brig. Sarahd Qadr, Kirkuk districts' police chief, told BasNews on Saturday that the airstrikes targeted a convoy of IS jihadists in Rashad district of Hawija.
Six IS leaders who were together in the convoy were killed in the strikes, according to the official.
