ERBIL — A roadside bomb blast on Saturday killed one civilian and injured 33 others in northern Iraqi city of Tikrit, Salahaddin province.
Iraqi health ministry confirmed the casualty figures in an official statement, saying that no groups or organizations have yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
The blast targeted a minibus carrying employees for an oil refinery near Tirkit.
Earlier the day, three other civilians were reportedly killed in an Islamic State (IS) attack on a village south of Mosul.
Despite declaring the entire country liberated from IS, Iraq is still being challenged by terrorist attacks, often carried out by IS.
