Kurdish Journalist Killed in Mosul Blast 

ERBIL-— An improvised explosive device (IED) on Monday went off in the Old City of Mosul, claiming the life of a Kurdish interpreter and journalist.

BasNews has learnt that Bakhtiyar Abdullah Haddad was accompanying a group of French journalists in the historic part of Mosul when the IED exploded.

Three members of the French journalist team were also wounded in the blast.
