ERBIL - At least four senior members of the Islamic State (IS) were killed in the Iraqi province of Salahaddin, a statement said on Saturday.
Iraq's Security Media Cell said in a statement that the Iraqi forces managed to ambush the four jihadists in the area of Farhatia in Samarra, Salahaddin province.
A couple of them were wearing explosive belts, the statement added, without giving any details on the identity of the militants.
