ERBIL - Nearly ten other people in the disputed Kurdish province of Kirkuk have lost their lives due to coronavirus over the past day, a spokesperson revealed on Tuesday.
Speaking to BasNews, Saman Yaba, a spokesperson for Kirkuk Health Department, pointed out that the coronavirus has claimed the lives of at least nine patients since Monday.
Meanwhile, 222 new infections with COVID-19 have been detected across the province over the past 24 hours, with which the tally rose to 6,237.
Out of the total number of cases, at least 3,763 patients have been discharged from the hospital and 303 others lost their lives.
