ERBIL - At least one Katyusha rocket on Tuesday night targeted Baghdad's Green Zone, without resulting in any casualties, a statement confirmed.
A press release by Iraq's Security Media Cell explained that the security forces were able to find a launch base where another rocket had been prepared to be fired at the Green Zone.
The rocket, which landed near the suspension bridge in Baghdad's Green Zone, was reportedly launched from the al-Rashid base, the statement added.
Meanwhile, Shwan Mohammed, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Forces (KDP) office in Baghdad, told BasNews that at least one rocket fell outside the Kurdish party's Fifth Branch in Karrada neighborhood.
