ERBIL - A team of the Kurdish Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) participated in a cleaning campaign of the Iraqi city of Mosul, a statement said.
The BCF explained in a statement that the team consisted of 150 members and that they took part in the campaign on July 26.
"A team from the BCF staff and volunteers participated in Mosul cleaning campaign on July 26, 2020. The campaign carried out for the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the BCF team consisted of (150) members," reads the press release.
It noted that the campaign would last for two days, during which the teams will clean the Assadi road and other neighborhoods.
"The operation will last for two days and will clean the Assadi road, neighbourhoods of Faisaliyah, and Al-Atiq and Darkizliyah bridges in collaboration with the municipality of Mosul," the statement added.
